In 2009, the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo (WRPR) tied for best medium size rodeo in the Great Lakes Circuit of the PRCA.  This year we've done it all alone, and were selected from 18 rodeos in the Medium Size category.  The Great Lakes Circuit consists of 9 states.  In all, there are 12 Circuits in the PRCA.

Being voted as the Medium Size Rodeo of the year is a tribute to the hours, days, weeks, and months that our committee spends on putting the rodeo together.  Kudos to each and every member of the this great committee.  But we don't do it alone, and would be remise if we didn't take the time to thank our Sponsors (the best in the world) our PRCA and WPRA contestants, and most of all the fans of Professional Rodeo who come every year, rain or shine, hot or cold and spend some quality family time with us.

It's our sponsors, contestants, and fans that really deserve the award.  We are happy to bring this award home for you, and will continue to work hard to be the best PRCA/WPRA rodeo that we can.

We appreciate all of our contestants and we prove it by our hospitality.  If you've never been to the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo, give us a try.  We treat our contestants like royalty with awesome food, free haircuts, feed for your horses and shavings for bedding, and gas card giveaways, just to name a few things we do for you. We try to make your stay with us just a little more comfortable.
